Because people have now realized how effective this skill can be. Range is about 1.5 times faster than melee if you select the type of attack on rapid. Level 1-10: The best place to train range from levels 1-10 is the chicken coop in Lumbridge. If you want to save money, then I suggest you pick up your arrows, but it will slow you down when you do it. If you want to make money while ranging then you can collect the feathers the chicken drops.

Amour: The best type of amour to wear is leather vambraces, runescape gold, body, and coif.

Bow: The best bow that you can use is a short bow because it attacks faster than a longbow, but longbows do more damage. It depends on how you wish to train your range. I would recommend a short bow. When you reach level 5 range then you can switch your bow to an oak bow.(rs gold)
